in Dolphin Behavioural Ecology and Genomics

We are offering two fully funded, four-year PhD positions starting in May/June 2026.

The projects combine fieldwork with wild bottlenose dolphins in Shark Bay, Australia, and behavioural and genomic research in Zurich, focusing on the evolution of social behaviour and cognition. We are looking for motivated candidates with a background in evolutionary biology, anthropology, genomics, or related fields, and an interest in field and laboratory work.
